Hyperbaric medicine, also known as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is the medical use of oxygen at a higher than atmospheric pressure. Hyperbaric is the only technique available to overcome the natural limit of oxygen solubility in blood. Healing Chambers of Asia Sdn. Bhd. (HCA) was formed in 2004. This company was established with a mission to provide consultancy and management services primarily on hyperbaric oxygen therapy. HCA is also currently operating a free-standing hyperbaric center, namely Kuala Lumpur Hyperbaric Center (KLHC), offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy as its main service. We hope to provide our patients with the best hyperbaric oxygen therapy experience and to achieve optimum health condition. Our mission is to help patients to participate in their own survival. We believe that each patient needs to fully understand the diagnosis and defy the prognosis. Our staffs are graduates from National Polytechnic College of Engineering and Oceaneering, San Diego, California on Hyperbaric Medicine. Apart from that, they are a certified First Responder. This proves our experience, knowledge and reputation in operating a hyperbaric facility. Through these courses, they have the following certificates: a)Manufacturer's Certificates by Sands Hyperbaric (which allows them to operate on any chambers manufactured by Sands Hyperbaric Inc.); b)Manufacturer’s Certificates by Oxyheal Health Groups (which allows them to operate on any chambers manufactured by Oxyheal Group of Companies; c)Certificate in Hyperbaric Medicine from the National College of Engineering and Oceaneering, San Diego; d)Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (which gives them a worldwide recognition to operate on any hyperbaric chambers in any hyperbaric facility in the world). This certificate is approved by the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine Technology.
